d'shire dance collective is a collaborative, project-based dance collective, directed by Deven P Brawley. Brawley thrives on presenting and teaching a diverse body of work that explores the experiences woven through the fabric of human existence. Fusing athleticism, power, imagery, & intense strength, showcasing the talents of the area's finest male dancers. The collective operates as collaboration between dancers, community, and regular guest artists. Conducting both performances & workshops to inspire broad participation in dance as a path to creating individual expression, celebration of diversity, and community transformation. ddc is dedicated to creating a dynamic outlet for progressive voices. We strive to challenge the intellect, imagination, & moral expectations of our artists & our audience.
